I hear ya Trey been worst winter into spring I've had in a long time. I'm use to getting 20 to a limit this time of year but guess water temps are still a lil cool, It was 49.6 when I left today with warmer temps in the foresast maybe it'll get right next week

I've been fishing about 160 miles south of Reelfoot. The water down there is just getting into the upper 50's. Reelfoot will get there, it's just going to be late this year.

They are starting to bite a lil better by then you should catch some fish, just hope you can get a day when the wind isn't howling 20mph. But I guess if it is you can always go over to kirbys and hide from it. tight lines and good luck!!

BigD has it right. Fishing had been getting progressively better. I've been putting in at Kirby lately in hopes of getting away from the giant fleet in the lower blue. Been doing pretty good and catching good slabs, when the yanks aren't running around wide open like a bunch of dummies.

I put in at Kirby last sunday fished for a few hours and didn't catch anything. Did see someone in a fiberglass bass boat running wide open...had to be doing at least 40mph.

Must have been a local or someone that knew the race track really well. Thats the only place on the lake that i ever open mine up although I do slow down if someone is fishing close unlike most that run the track and ditches.
