Looked at that, I have a Dell now so if I went to Mac, I would have to buy a whole new system plus 100.00 dollars to get windows 7 loaded on it. Don't know if I should try to ride it out until Win 9 is available.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

My Dell crashed a few months ago and I bought a Mac. Dell mouse, keyboard and monitor all work fine with it.

You'll love it, especially if you have an I-phone.

My XP just keeps plugging along. Boss said it's time to upgrade to a new system. Didn't know if she was referring to the computer or me

Thanks for the info. I thought Mac made all of it's accessories.

Nope, it's Plug and Play just like Windows, but Apple does make some cool accessories. I've been a Mac user for decades. You'll pay more for the hardware up front, but it's worth it. In 20 years I've had one hardware problem. And now there is great software available (Parallels) if you need to run Windows on your Mac.
