    Default Cave Run 4/1


    Caught a pretty good bunch of fish today to spite the 30 mile an hour wind. We caught most of them about 6'deep over brush piles in 20' of water . Water temp.was 52` and the lake is raising. We fished bobbers when the wind would let us and minnow tipped jigs the rest of the time.

    Good bunch of fish. I fished cave run Monday and had 34 keepers. Was going to fish the river but looked very stained. Ended up fishing beaver. Did you fish the river?

    I was fishing beaver the river is really muddy.

    I have been fishing beaver the river is muddy all the way up to popin rock.

    I have never fished Cave run lake, but am thinking about making a trip down there soon. Does anyone troll for the crappies or is it just a jiging lake? Aslo does anyone know of a inexpensive cabin close to a boat ramp? Thanks JC
