    I'll throw this out there if anyone is interested. In Arrowhead Estates (in Arrowhead State Park), there is a 3-bedroom house that is available for renting. Non-holiday weekends has a 2-night requirement. We rented it for several friends last summer and it was very nice. Its lake front, but it does not have good water access and the shore is too rocky to beach a boat. I think it was $205/night. If interested, contact Overlook Hideaway at 504-914-2832. Her name is Karen Hoover.

For security reasons, I've been nervous about putting my address in the Forum, however, my wife reminded me that its hard enough for her friends to get through the Concertina wire, past the three Rottweilers and the two snakes when they come over to play cards. Even then the 7 camera HD video system with night vision would record any intruders. (The security system was originally put in because of her card playing friends!)...........dave
