Default Well I guess I'm setup

got the tm on. mounted the graph (old hummingbird 565 I was given a while back) mr. Echols at hitek made me a 30in bar with 6 holders (for now). Conway got me set up with 4 14 ft ozark rods that paired with a couple 12 footers I had and some el cheapo reels and I am a cluster waiting to happen. course with baby #3 scheduled to be here on Monday it may be a minute before I get to try it all out but man it looks good in the garage. thanks for all the advice.

I would start with $100 dollars worth of crankbaits and just hang a right from your house and put in there at hi-way landing, motor under the bridge and start trolling. Head toward Gold Creek somewhere between 1.5 to 2 mph dragging or pushing 6 bandits. A stiff south wind will also speed the learning process. In less than 30 minutes, you will be a master at unhanging, untangling, cussing, praying, tying, cutting, yelling, mumbling, not to mention stress testing all the new equipment. By the way, you will also be $100 poorer. After this, anything that you face in the future will be childs play.

Good luck. The rig is looking good. Being that far forward will help a bunch.

Looking good so far. One thing I would do is get Scott to send you another base and mount it right back at the rear of the front deck. That way if your fishing by your self it would be more comfortable. Just looking at the picture seems like a lot of distance from seat base to rod holder.

Looks like all you need to do is add water

He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
