    Default Terrova question

Is there a way to reduce the friction (or spring tension) in the foot pedal? I like using the foot pedal at times but have to use the back buttons for left & right.

I don't know about the springs, but I can truly say that most of the parasites are alive and well in DC.

There was a post awhile back where someone told how to replace the springs with shorter ones. I believe they purchaesed the new springs at lowes.i did this to mine and it helped greatly. It has been maybe a year ago, just don't remember all the details but it was simple. Maybe you can do a search and find it.

I wish you could find the info. I went to Lowes yesterday and they didn't have anything close to the MK springs.

    Thanks

I tried to find the thread also and didn't. Posted question on Mississippi forum, that's where I think the info came from. I did find info about adjusting large head screw on the bottum of the foot pedal. Maybe that's what I did but I thought I took the springs out and replaced them.lol

Guys all you have to do is get new screws for the bottom of the foot control. I got mine at Lowes. Thinking the post I did on this had the size and stuff. But all I did was take one of the screws with me. Picked up 4 that was around 1/4" longer 1/8th will work also. Those longer screws allow the springs to not be as tight. If you get it where it will not shut off you know to screw needs tightened up more. Mine has been used guessing 4 years or more and still works perfect.
Need to get the video camera out and do a video on this fix. Anyone that is going to be at Grenada at the spring fling I can show you how to do it there.
