What is the purpose of this fix? Is the pedal just to stiff to push or is there another benefit? I went from a fortrex to the terrova and I hate the terrova foot pedal.

It makes the foot pedal alot easier to use up & down. Made a hudge difference on mine. You have to play around with it a little to get it the way you want it but it is a easy fix.

Is it the spring screws that we are talking about getting a 1/4" longer? If so, what adjustment can you make having a longer screw. Do you have to do anything to the spring like stretching it or etc?

ShilohRed said he bought 4 screws... I am confused.

I think I only used 2 screws(bought 4 different lenght), seems like I did strech the springs. His thread should be on here, just can't find it. I thoght it was also made a sticky.

If you get it where it will not shut off you know to screw needs tightened up more. Mine has been used guessing 4 years or more and still works perfect.
Need to get the video camera out and do a video on this fix. Anyone that is going to be at Grenada at the spring fling I can show you how to do it there.
