Thread: Lil Pigeon

Got to the landing about 10:30am and went straight to my cold water hole. Water is up and muddy.Picked up 5 OK fish.
Next on to one of my better canals. Ran to the back were the water was better. Nothing but shoe pick and gar. Went back up the canal and fished a lay down. Pulled 3 green trout of it and missed two more.
Moved to a different area and bass boats everywhere. Must be a tournament. Those folks love to run and gun.

Found a straight of bank with good water and started catching trout. The males were near the bank on stumps and trees.. Females were out suspended in the lay downs.

Never did catch anymore sacs. Fun pulling trout on a jig pole. Headed in a 2. Got a party and can't be late.

The shoe pic and gar hit a black and chanteuse 3tail swam. The sacs and trout with a black n chartreuse tube jig 1/16 oz minnow head with no paint.caught tight-line

Watch a mama alligator sunning on a bank with about a dozen little ones. She started barking at me when I got close. Must have thought I was Troy Landry.

Canal off to the left before the tower? Where the rig/ whatever was with platform and pilings in the water?
