I had already seen that it would turn the way the point was but some advice when messing with something cheap, put your mind in gear and try new things, thats what omes up with new ways of fishing,of coarse its good to ask but also go outside of the box, many will never change from their normal ways of fishing, but i always love to try something different, remerber i think it was edison who said he could tell you 999 ways that a light bull will not work.so most idears are not going to work but keep thinking and one will come and work for you thats new, happy fishing

Had the same idea!! We fish a small shallow lake lots of coontail moss lots of crappie!! My great crappie friend came up with a popping bug and bream killer he kills the crappie on this combo!! Crappie pro suggested a bobber, tiny and a small 1/64 or smaller crappie jig!! The resuls have been awsome!! now we use the float small jig head 1/64 and a crappie tube!! This combo has worked also!!

Might want to try these. They have a hole through them to slide your line thru. I have used them on spider rig on top dropper with just plain hook. You can peg them at the hook with a tooth pick.
