Not hard at all if you take the swivel and blade off to do that and then after tying put it back on. Just a split ring holding them on.
Instead of a split ring I'd cut the eye with snips or dremmel. Then slip the swivel on and bend the eye.
Where is a good source to get those jig heads?
Like skip said, tie it up put on swivel and blade, hook a minnow through the lips and catch fish.

Also get that collar off that hook so you can tie it right. That collar will just make it fat at the head and look funny. Either buy them without a collar or cut it off. Besides when they put a collar on a jig head, say a 1/16 oz head, they don't change the so call weight when added a collar even though we all know when you add kore lead it's heavier! The mold for a 1/16 with a collar has the same size head with out a collar. None of the jig heads weigh what they say to start with.
