    You smoke something up and I will come try it. Some say that you need a piece of charcoal to put in with the wood to help make a smoke ring in the meat. I've been wanting one of those smokers myself

    I hope so G and Clfarms it seems to be pretty well built little unit, I am really curious to see how some crappie fillets would be smoked in this thing.

    Will keep that in mind, wife got me a bag of hickory chips to go with it, they have some apple chips also and I want to get some of those as well.

    Ours aint near that fancy and we love it. Chicken strips, pork chops, deer meat and the list goes on and on!!!!
    You gonna love it and I intend to be in on some of the partaking of the vittles that come off that thing.

    I take the limbs that either fall off or I trim off on my Pecan trees and cut them up in small pieces......when I get ready to cook I soak some of them in water or apple cider all night the night before

    I've got one and love it. It's sealed very well. I've cooked with mine with it in the 20s outside with a 20 mph wind. I put my wood chips in mine without soaking them. To me they burn better that way since they're not sitting on hot coals like in a charcoal grill.
