Seems to me that is pretty much human nature, not just the "left". In fact, I have seen that same thing on here when the subject is something as simple as crappie fishing. I could go back through some of the older posts on here from a few years ago and show you some posts that went page after page with nothing but fighting and childish name calling on here to the point that Slab threatened to ban some folks before it ended. Must be a bunch of "lefties" that crappie fish too I guess huh?

They made A&E and when they move to another network, A&E will dry right up. I hope they paid attention to some of the lessons on catching food from the wild to survive on cause the folks at A&E might just have to do it. It was reported on the news that Phil had an A&E media adviser with him, A&E let Phil rap away without intervention. Soooo, a case of hypocrisy or a conspiracy for profit???

Cane Pole are you `suggesting` a major Media outlet used a cast member of 1 of the most currently popular TV series making millions daily in merchandise to stir up debate NEEDLESSLY to further increase sales? Next you`d say that greed caused the recent Wall Street economic irregularity ! (SAY it isn`t `so`...)

Anybody see A&E s line up tonight ? DD all night! Think they care about what is right ? If you do keep drinkin the kool aid. It's money, that's all they care about.

I can easily believe people `see` what they WANT to and IGNORE even the most obvious things they don`t want to...an idyllic and prosperous Southern town with strong WASP values, guns everywhere and wealth and not a single minority within 500 hundred miles...`reality` TV.

Read Phil's book. You apparently haven't. The reply Phil gave to all this came from Phil. That is the type of person He is. These folks are not racist and don't agree with homosexuality. Thats all. They don't consider themselves better than anyone. If You don't believe that then Google "I am Second". Watch the video. Reed Robertson got like that, lost all his friends because of it and almost killed himself. He told the Story. Phil is not a perfect man nor are the rest of them. They learned that through Christ and Family is true strength. That is where they found their's. That is why the family will not do the show without Phil. Notice no one is asking the rest of the family if they agree with what Phil said. They would have to kick them all off. They did not want to get into the politics of all this. They were drug into it by the left wing agenda starting with GQ magazine.

Anyone that has ever seen old You Tube videos of Phil or any of the Robertsons making speeches, knew at some point this kind of thing would happen. They talk about three things most of the time in their speeches. God, killing Ducks and Acting decent. If read what He said about Blacks and did not see where it was offensive at all. He was harder of the Gays but also said in his response he would treat them with respect as he would anyone. He just does not agree with them.

Homosexuals may get equal treatment under the law but they never will be able to force people to think it is right when one's religion says it is not right and that person has a strong faith in that religion. That is why gays stick it in everyone's face on their Gay parades and Gay pride days. They won't ever convince the majority that what they are is fine. they may get it though law but it will take more than law to change minds when they go out in public and act like they do. Keep it in the bedroom like everyone else. That attitude Offends ME and millions of others that think like me BUT that is OK. We are supposed to just take it because we are so called old thinking or backward thinking when to me being queer is as backward thinking as You can get. We deserve our opinions as well and should be respected when someone does not agree with us. I'm sick of this two sided bull crap.CF
