    Default Playing with new Jig Color


    Milford in the winter is pretty clear and as the fish are deeper (at least for me) and I usually fish for them overcast days fishing deeper... I have had some success with these. So painting up a few.

    For them that catch them in 4 fow in 36F water temps....rock on....me, I need all the help I can get

    You know that dock you use there in School Crk, we used to catch crappie and LMB under it, through the ice even. Times change, yep, it used to be pretty deep in that pocket cove. Right behind the dock there were trees lining the bank, in the back was a big willow, quick sloping bank and structure, lot's of it. Plenty of fish from the bank or dock, all gone now. But, the 4 square fishing is still available through-out the lake. Sometimes a guy can be surprised at himself when he leaves the boat home, I promise.

    That glow, it worked wonderfully up at Kirwin for me. It works.

    I've never used glow for crappie, caught a lot of whites on it but will have to give it a try sometime

    KAG, thanks for the heads up. I had totally forgotten about glow jigs. I just ordered a bottle of powder glow paint off of Ebay. Maybe it will help me fill the basket this winter...........Bob
