You can buy a voltage changer circuit board for a few dollars. I had a 6 volt aerator that I wanted to run off my boat power. The board is adjustable so you can set any voltage, like 6, 2 or 3. I mounted mine in a short piece of 2" pvc with 2 end caps to protect it. Cost less than $5 but it shipped from China so took a while to get here.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
I'm trying out connect scale at the moment. They weigh in pound/ounces(00lb.0oz) or just ounces(00.0oz). They Bluetooth link to your phone thru an app that keeps up with all your info. Used them this weekend at CrappieUSA tournament and it worked great. Once you weigh and tag your first 7 fish it is fast at culling. It will tell you to release or keep and cull(color tag) instantly.
We use a postal scale for our tournaments. I bought a 12v converter that attaches to my battery posts. Plug the scale in and weight fish. The scale gets slimed every tournament and has never failed. It so sensitive that we had to make a wind block, even for 5mph winds.
Best method on the boat, is a balance beam. When it comes down to it, you are weighing your heaviest fish. A balance beam will always be accurate and never needs batteries.

Refrigeration scales would probably work also .

A balance beam does no good when you are looking for weight not heaviest for a weigh-in. We weigh and release a good many fish this time of year.
