Thread: How did you do for deer hunting?

You Wisconsin guys and gals...How was your deer opener?I was unable to go this year.

I guess all the WI guys are busy.

I went up for the opener and did not do good at all. The group of three I was in ended up with no deer. I only saw one deer and it was so foggy I couldn't find it in the scope. All I could say was that it had a big body but couldn't tell whether a buck or doe due to the fog. I hunted from Saturday opener until Tuesday. We didn't start seeing a lot of tracks until our last day. For some reason the deer just weren't moving a lot in the area I hunted. I'll just have to give it another try next year and hope for better results.
By the way, I heard the preliminary tally is that the deer harvest for this season was only 2 percent above last year.
