I went to a certain lake today and fished for bass from about 8-12 in the morning. I caught 2 fish, one 12 incher and one 8 incher. Both came on spinnerbaits. Teh 12 incher i caught in about a foot of water. The othe rwas in about 10-12 feet. I got about 5 short strikes. I was using chartruese spinnerbaits. I tried using a smaller spinnerbait and a white spinnerbait but i kept getting short strikes. Any ideas of what was going wrong or what i should have used. The water was dark if that helps.
