For over 10 years they were the zipperlip of L. Wash smallmouth fishery known only to the locals. Then ESPN Outdoors published the fact that they are a smallmouth producing factory. Now every tourny pro and his grandmother knows about them. I have nothing againt tourny guys (I'll be fishing a few next year myself) but some of them are rude (like the guys that pulled right up to a dock I was fishing and cast across my line on Sat)
At anyrate, the entrance is just south of I-90 on the east shore of the east channel.
