That water is still too cold for them to move up shallow. That may change this week but I really think they are not going to spawn until the 1st week of June this year...at least in the deeper lakes. A few of the smaller lakes have fish that are slowly starting to spawn though. When BPM and I went out two weeks ago on Washington (chasing bass:D) the schools we spotted were still in 20' of water and suspended with the water temps in the low 50's. The bass are not even on beds in mass numbers yet (very...very...few are). It's just gonna take some time this year for them to move up on the big lakes.

I'll be checking on Lake Washington/Union on Sat and Kapowsin/Ohop on Sunday for slabs. Good luck if you guys head out.
