INlate spring there are some big gills that move to the shore to spawn and that would be the besty time to toss some poppers or a streamer. In the late summer into early fall the cannals around the lake are perfect for a short 7 to 8 foot 3 to 4 weight rod and are full of 8-12inch trout and bass a white or black marabu streamer or leach pattern will pay of big.
