Silver is Kayak friendly and there are crappie to be had however, theres really no need to drive that far. There are plenty of Crappie to be caught within 20 minutes from where your live. Do your research.

Spanaway is not much of a crappie lake although there are a few, bass fishing is good, there are also so really nice brown trout in Spanaway.
