To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D
you have any luck on samammish or washington slabking? i don't have anything to show for my efforts yesterday, except for a huge sculpin
Don't cut your self short urban, it was a sculpin out of 60 feet of water with a three inch tube, Good Job!!

yea i know and it was about 10 lbs. too!:D
You did better than me Urban:D. I got beat to death by the wind, lost over 20 jigs to brushpiles, missed my only bite of the day, and ran out of oil (forgot to check it in the morning). Other than that it was still fun to get out on the old lake:D. I may not be able to head out again until mid-April and then I'll be on the Snake River or Moses for the spawn.
I'd love to go out Ice but the next few weeks are gonna busy for me. I'm pretty backed up on work at my buisness and need to get caught up before May gets here. I'm also going to start shooting a warmwater fishing in Washington DVD series so I have to figure out were we want to shoot during Spring. If there's anything you guys would like to see...let me know. So far I plan to show how to troll for Snake River crappie (should be a good show with a few 2lb slabs caught), how to locate deep structure, catching crappie during spawn and post-spawn, night fishing urban lakes, then a combo show on Moses Lake and Potholes summer fishing.
that sounds cool slabkingOriginally Posted by SlabKing

go dawgs!!
Yeah, it should be pretty fun I think. I'm trying to keep the cost down around $10 per DVD. I'd like to expand it next year and start doing DVD's for each good lake in the state incuding maps and GPS coordinates. We'll see what happens. If it takes off I may open a small tackle shop for warmwater species that carries all the different brands of jigs, poles, crankbaits, reels, floats, and etc that we use but always have to order. Just need to find someone that can cover the register for me during the spawn :D.
sounds good. where do you plan to sell them?

I already have BestBuy ready to carry them online. I also plan on getting them placed in a few local tackle shops and sell them online when my new website is up this Fall.
