    has anyone caught any crappie in the new year? i only caught one at moses lake so far . the perch fishing was great though.
    fishin isn't a sport, it's a way of life.

    i haven't caught a crappie since november, and i haven't caught a fish at all since january

    Yeah ive got crappie up to 1.5lbs and bass biggest bass is around 3 but theres much bigger bass. And for all of you that have sent me an email dont tell to many people about it.

    yeah so I have caught 3 crappie this year and they were all bout five inches in length. so Yeah.
    To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D

    Mid april is usually when that lake turns on. the water temp is about 60 to 65 then and the fish are all prespawn.

    You're doing better than half of us so far this year:D. I've been out for perch and smallmouth during the day time and have done pretty well. I like night fishing for the slabs and it's been just a little to cold at night as of late.

    Oh yeah, thought I'd let you guys know that GI Joes has Lowrance depth finders with GPS on sale for $129 reg price was $300. They're being discontinued. I stopped by the store in Kent yesterday and they were sold out already. I walked out with the floor model for $70:D Got it hooked up lastnight and it works great. All of the major lakes and rivers here are built right into it.
