    Thumbs up brownlee

what's up fellow fishermen and women,

just returned from a trip over and down to brownlee, rented a kitchenette for the family in richland or. for 4 days, rented a platoon boat from Bob, tuesday 13th jul, fishing was good for some, great for others, and not so good for me.
mostly fished near hewitt park first couple of days during daylight hours(nite time is the rite time. finally drove down to the brownlee res., there fishing was hot(catfish, bass, crappie)cats to 14lbs, 4-5lbs average, smallest crappie i saw was 9 inches. my 7yr old landed a 4lb lg mouth, and several nice cats, all in all it was a great trip. we brought back a total of 100 fish with aboout 15 being blue gill mostlly 4 fingers a couple of 5s. people on the brownlee (a few that i met) have a sour taste for those that camp on the brownlee on snake canyon rd. reason being the trash that is left behind. i saw it for myself, two guys from up this way fished for one night got a cooler full of crappie/cats and left enough garbage to think they were there for a weekend i hope cleaned it up. let's continue to be respectful of where we fish.thanks, also i am trying to do a trip 1st sept, my son will be back in school, looking for someone that might be heading that way. water should be ideal from what i was told.

preciate all the info, big ups to slab lookk forward to making your presence soon

    great fishin nick

Sup? Nick I Also Just Got Back On The 23rd And I Have To Say My Man Bob Is A Godsend. He Had My Daughter's Back The Whole Fishing Trip And He Pretty Much Adopted Her As His New Granddaughter. Anyone Planning To Take A Trip Richland Oregon I Urge You To Holla At Bob From Richland Guiding & Boat Rentals. We Camped At Hewitt Park Next To The Fish Cleaning Station, I Caught 3 Of My 300 Fish From The Dock.
The Water Is Lowering Fast And Pretty Much The Docks Were Grounded, We Caught Over 300 Crappie And 7 Nice Channel Cats(4 -15lbs/ 3-3lbs). Fishing Is Good You Just Have To Find The Schools Anyway Take Care -( Bad) - Oh Bring Plenty Of Crappie Nibbles
