I went to Silver Lake (Castle Rock) last Saturday and caught a bunch of small perch and crappie in the Canal. No keepers or anything to write home about. I did see a guy land a nice 11" crappie from the banks by the new RV park. I've fished Sawyer, Trout (fed way) and Lake Holmes in the past month. Not a nibble, not a bite. Stopped in Richland Or. back in January on my way back from New Orleans and caught 37 nice crappies. Mark your calendar for June 18th, that's when the Crappie will start biting in Western Washington.....
