Default Where to go fishing tomorrow?

Looking to go fishing tomorrow. Would love to go to the Pamunkey river but I think all the recent heavy rains has it messed up.
Any suggestions? Also thought about Fort Pickett but concerned that it will be real muddy. Thinking of Sandy River Resivoir, haven't been there in a while. Never have been to LCR or Western Branch or Diaisons?9 bad speller).
Kind of a long trip to Buggs. Any ideas or is anyone else getting out to fish on Wednesday?

    Thanks,

    Roy

That long trip could be worth it :D:D Good luck where ever you decide to go. I wish that I could go tomorrow but I probably won't be able to go again until Friday!

I fished Floyd Pond last Friday and it was a little stained, but very fishable. Stopped by and looked at the reservoir after that and it was a little high, but not real muddy, should be OK now, my guess anyway. Then went by Lee Lake, water about a foot high, but clear as glass. Reports on Sandy River and Briery Creek the last few days make no reference to muddy water? Hope this helps you make the decision as it confuses me!

OBTW, Roy, fished Swift Creek Lake in Pocahontas State Park yesterday, no problem there and there is still a good crappie bite going, nothing over ten inches, but, lots of pullage!

    Smile Went to Sandy River

Thanks for the input guys. Ended up going to Sandy River. Had a fun day and caught lots of fish though most of them small. Ended up going through 5 dozen minnows in about 6 hours, also caught a few on a john deer cruly tail grub. Some crappie still shallow and some with eggs. Most fish around 9' deep over about 12' water. Brought home 6 crappie, 1 bluegrill, a warmouth (good size) and a 2 1/2 pound kitty. Also caught a 5 lb bass and a nice chain pickerel. A little windy today but not too bad. Not too crowed when I took out it was about 20 trailers in the lot. Nobody fished near me all day. Hopefully I will go again someplace later this week.
