Give me some ideas for where and when and I'll get a couple of polls going.

We could do something central like Smith Mountain or we could do one that hasn't been done for a while maybe Chick or the James. Kerr is always a fav. Or just to make everyone want to stop fishing we could try Western Branch LOL!!!!! I think the 9th would be best case for good fishing but it is a little close at this point. What about the 16th?

the may full moon shuts the beds down for crappie and bass and lets them other panfish and catfish take a wack at it for the next 30 or so ....I found second and third weeks of may is a big transition period according to my small memory section that aint quite burnt yet.....godws natural culling process fry swimming everywhere and bream bluegill preferred shalow temps thats why we catching them shallow as of lately and the craps are getting thin and small size does matter in people dogs fish birds etc, as far as dominance goes, better beat the fat man to the table ................the gar get active gotta have a bully of course.......carp show up looking like stump structure from a distance....but those first ledges just before deep water are full of all kinds of variables ........16th good with me rain or shine count my behind .thunder lightening you'll not see me frightened.......

I know sandy ,,i've fished it many times mainly for bass a few years ago,,but it does have crappie , shellies and nice bream too,,caught a few 5lb cats on black worm bass fishing also it is a 24hr lake and only a 9.9gas motor limit.
