What a great day, by far the best day I've had on a lake. left the beach at 2:15am got to lake early (made sure I had full tank of gas) loaded boat put in at sandy creek only boat there made the run to buffalo. nothing like running on open water with no light or moon in the sky. saw 1 other boat under the old bridge hit buffalo still in the dark. started at the corner tightlining 6 rods and long lining 2 on the outside of holders. before sunnup had 13 and the day just got better Fished th brush we found last week and had 3 doubles back-2-back then it happened 5 fingerling bass then back to the crappie... nothing larger then 14" most were in the 5-9" range but kept 25 11-14" had the keep 1 small striper, swallowed the hook and did lot of damaged on the way out. about 130 had something hit my line and buy the time I set the hook broke the line. 10lb test never saw it but hit it fast swimming from shore to deeper water.. most fish in less then 10 ft of water. cool day light winds and no rain. motor ran great put prop on with less pitch and lost 5mph but ran smoother also hit 19.8 but was less bouncy.. overall was a great-day
