Decided to go back to lake Prince and see if the magic tree was still active.
My lake [Cahoon is about 4 feet down and my pier is DRY.] So im trailering like the rest of you. Anyway, i went back to the tree that produced 6 really nice ones last week and caught one on the first cast. Caught maybe 5 or 6 more with only one around a pound. They hit a jig on the drop. Fished the lake for the rest of the day without a single Crappie to show for it. The small brim were hitting that jig 4 and 5 at a time, it was fun to watch them fight for it. My brother in law caught a 4 lb bass while watching me catch probably 60 fish.
Oh well, to each his own.

I'd hit that tree everytime you go to Prince. I'm catching most my crappie at the exact same spots on Western Branch everytime I go. Prince has gotten real tough to find the crappie, not sure why.
