Hope this last one dropped some water on you, we got enough to wet the sidewalk, but radar looked promising.
Decided to try some ballet tonight for a change.

Mighty powerful stuff "Twinkle Toes"...Keep on your toes...It has rained here for the last 4 hours...You might consider talking HS into taking a few lessons.. Wonder how he would look in a TuTu?????

Got some rain finally last night. Don't know how much yet but will post when I do. It was a good shower at least. Thank God!. Oh and thanks for the dances Buffy and Shoer. CF

Glad ya'll finaly got some, it 'rained' for over an hour and the sidewalk never got wet, I tried counting the raindrops, but got bored waiting.
I don't know about Shoer in a tutu, my scare the rain Gods off.
I like the furry chaps though.

Got 8 or 9 tenths of an inch from last night. Water never stood anywhere. Will need more soon but the forecast is calling for better chances too. Maybe this stuborn weather pattern we have been stuck in is finally changing. I hope so. Been the longest dry spell I have been in in 14 years of farming. CF

The rain gods are smiling on me now. We picked up a half an inch last night to go on top of the 8 or 9 tenths from the night before. The craziest part about last nights rain is that we were the only part of the whole state that looks like got anything. It was just a blip on the radar. and went east across the southern part of the county. It was only a strip about 10 miles long and 2 miles wide that got it and it bulls eyed my corn. Actually had some run off. They were not even calling for rain here last night. Radar looks like we are gonna get another shower this afternoon. We are in good shape now and if it rains more to the point of too wet, then that will be fine. We need it bad. If we had gotten this rain 3 weeks ago, we would have an a$$ kicking crop but I will gladly take what we got. It saved what looks to be a mediocre corn crop and saved the bean crop. CF
