I wish I had better news. That is a long paddle, especially in cold water and main river boat wakes. If you have a wheeled dolly, you can take the yak behind the Henricus visitor building. The first hill is kinds steep but after that it's nice flat walking. You can launch at the first 'bay' on the left or keep walking to get you to the first floating dock inside the barge pit. I would be sweet if there was access to the barge pit for yaks and such.
