Hey Paper I'll be out there in March.Cohoon goes way back there and I know 3 or 4 good spots there.I got a underwater video camera now cant wait to use it.I'll find them now. There are some deep holes 30 foot or so out there and they rise up fast to 6 foot. Always mark fish there now I'am going to see if there are fish down there.Dont worrie we will hook up out there.

hey DREW, I've got an AQUA-VU one little tip for you, get you a extendable pole of some sort...without some sort of device to keep camera head still you can't tell what's going on...all blurry ...can set on bottom and see OK..but will spin and act like no video otherwise...just my experience ....good luck....you can get pole from aqua-vu or I bought extendable pole for painting..from lowes or home depot..have fun..new toys are great....karl

yea, I start by rigging up several sections of 3/4" pvc to hold camera still....just took up too much room on boat...but proved to me that camera would work ok..had 8' sections that screwed together....yea this weather is killing me...gonna try wednesday--should be about 50 deg. here...

That is one lake I have not heard of, (probably for the above reasons), I would really enjoy a few hours on a lake like that.
They did something like that in california, I think it was lake Dixon, it was closed in the late 60's, and when they opened it up to the public in the early 90's, they picked lottery tickets to fish it, (it was awsome) I did not get a chance to fish it, but there are still record being pulled from there, bass, crappie, etc etc, are all abundant in that lake.
Thanks for the post, good fishing to ya.

I did some follow up on that lake after your post bill, and you are absolutly correct, that would be a fish lake to kill for lol, I see the acidity level and the micro food in that lake is superb for pan fish reproduction.

I was looking on cohoon site, and pulled up a map, but it wouldn't show kilby, it also noted the lake was closed permanently for fishing, but Lake meade shows kilby to be off one arm of the lake and part of portsmouth utilities, seems like its indicating the lakes are interconnected, im thinking maybe a dam is seperating kilby from meade.
oh well, maybe I will check out meade next month instead of cohoon.
    Good fishing.
