**************Lake Smith Boat Ramp******************
A project to improve the Lake Smith Weir (spillway) has begun and is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2018. To facilitate construction, the lake elevation may be lowered. The contractor will also use the main boat ramp to load large equipment into the lake, which will require closing the facility to the public. Closure dates will be posted when they become available.

From the Project Manager - Contractor has the crane move scheduled for Wednesday night. We'll have to close the parking lot Thursday and possibly even Friday.

Update August 8
Lake Smith parking area and boat ramp will be closed August 16, 2017. If needed, due to inclement weather, the ramp will be closed on August 17, 2017.
