This warm weather is going to kill me next week since I'll be working... I trout fished this morning for a couple hours but nothing beats crappie fishing. I hope to search for some new bank fishing spots tomorrow with the wife... Not sure if I'll fish tho... I'd like to hook up with a slab like genes... I almost regret keeping the 2 14" fish... At what size do you toss them back? 14" 15"? I actually prefer the fillets off the 11" 12" fish

Nothing to regret. I have done taste test with various sizes and they all taste the same to me. A lot of the members prefer to release the bigger crappie with high hopes that they will be caught again, for me, I feel that they have just as good of chance of dying of natural causes as they do for being caught again so I keep big crappie. It all comes down to personal preference, you caught the crappie, you and only you has the right to decide what to do with it. There is no right or wrong.
