Went out on Friday, Feb 19, from about eight a.m. until noon. I fished a jig and minnow combo about 6' or 7' down in 12 FOW. The water temp on the surface was 42 in the morning, but warmed up to 45 by the time I left. I lost a whopper right beside the boat. Probably the biggest crappie I have hooked to date. Dang! I guess I'll have to try again!

I probably caught around 35 fish total, and kept 14 crappie for the table. Here is what I brought home:

The striper is 21", and the biggest crappie was almost 13". Here is a close-up of that yellow perch:
