Look at the gut on that fish!!! Makes me wonder how many crappie he eats a day
. The blue catfish is not a native species. Since it's introduction to the James River many people have enjoyed it stretching their strings. However ,it has reaked havoc on many of its rivals in the food chain. One notably is the channel catfish. Also with its voracious appetite it's caused declining population in the pan fish species. Now northern virginia has another invasive species to deal with in the snakehead.
