OK I have had a chance to rest LOL. I left the house at 4am and launched at Coinjock shortly after 7am. I decided against using the I-Town ramp because I thought it would have been muddy and I was fishing solo. Once in the water I went Full Speed up the canal <--Oops! then out to the fishing grounds. The wind was in my face for the whole ride out. Well I had the fist perch in the boat within 5 minutes. After that it was hard! The wind made it quite challenging with the long poles. I did manage to pick them off though for a total of 10 keepers. Not too bad considering the wind conditions as far as I am concerned. By catch consisted of 1 18" Rock, 1 flyer, 1 crappie, 1 gar, and one wayward Flounder. All by catch was released. The perch bite really seemed to die off after 11am. All by catch besides the rock fish came after this point. On the way back in I was flying down the canal and I see some duck hunters at one of the restaurants screaming and yelling at me to slow down... I look up and see all the no wake signs all over the place. Sorry about that! I forgot you cant do that! Any way, on the trailer and home by 6PM.
I'll be back with Jordanlimit and Hunter in 2 weeks! I can't wait!
