Haven't posted on this in a while. Looks like the water level is 1 1/2 ft below full pool. No more sand bridge connecting the island in front of the ramp. Can't wait to get this cast off of my wrist so I can get back in the yak.

I fell off of a roof the day before Thanksgiving. Cast to come off Jan 4, then 4 wks? in a brace. It's been real tough not being able yak. Fished put of my jonboat at the bash with my son. Fishing left handed is just like writing southpaw, it can be done just not as good.

Well Anchor Man, Looks like it's a little easier to put in at DR. Got my new rods rigged and ready to go.

I cant believe it came up so fast! I took my dad out briefly last weekend and the sand bar by the ramp still had a foot and a half to go at least to rise. I am glad it has come back up in time to have some water on shallow cover for spring.
It does suck now unloading for me, I liked it when I could drop the trailer off the rocks and not have to climb onto the trailer to push it off.

Finally got this cast off my wrist, so back in the yak. Tried to see if it would hurt, and it did, to do some paddling. No bites today so off to another spot. Water level is still 2'? from full pool but launching should be good now.

Give that wrist time to heal properly. You don't want that cast back on. At least I assume you don't.
