    Default NWR lodging

Heading down to fish in late Sept and was wondering if there are any house rentals on the river? Four of us and two boats Monday to Friday.
I saw the cabins in the Park but nothing close by. Like I said on the river with docks would be great.

    Thanks

    1st Moo, how you been?
2nd Sept was last month I think.
3rd, I don't think there are any houses on the river, might try these guys for info, they're on the river and can give you some help on what's a close alternative.

Capt. Mike, I assume you are the same gentlemen who posts about guided trips on the Potomac? If so, I enjoy reading about your adventures. Next, Boscoe is correct, there are no rentals on the river. Actually, there are only two homes on the entire run from Bob's Fishing Hole to Tull's Bay. If you want to find other accomodations, I would suggest looking up Moyock, NC or Chesapeake, VA. You will find many options for a week's lodging. Good luck when you go and let us know how you do.

Nearest place is going to be a motel in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake.

    1. I have been good, working every day I can including weekends. The Moo is only a shadow of it's former self. After the split they both kinda fizzled out.
    2. 2016.. with my busy schedule I have to plan vacations a year in advance.
