Excellent string of trips, Woody! They're now saying it will be the end of this year before the next high tide @ DR, so that yak will be your ticket to many more months of lonely fishing.

had some extra time this week so what better way to spend it. DR has been producing good numbers, not any big ones but nice 11" average sized fish. The bite came later in the morning. With the water level down, not much traffic, only saw 1 other noat today. Off the water by 2:00.

" If you are lucky enough to be fishing, you are lucky enough"
Went back today for the last of my fishing for a while. Ended up with 22 on the day, all 10"-12 1/2" fish with one going 14" and immediatly released. All on jigs. Its been a nice stretch of fishing trips. Over 100 fish kept, that will complete what is needed for the fish fries for this year.. Good fishing with you today Pete. Hope we can cross wakes again soon.
