Default Great day with the crappie master

I had the pleasure of spending the day with Gene C and getting some lessons on dock shooting and catching crappie on brush piles. Gene is like a machine catching fish, at one point early this morning he had me out fished 15 to 1. Thanks Gene for the nice day on the water and catching 85 was also a plus. You and Jimb are the best two at casting and working jigs that I have ever seen. Thanks again for a day of fun and friendship.

Glad you had a good day fishing with a crappie master. I believe Gene could catch crappie out of a mud puddle in a parking lot. Don't need any pictures as I know what both of you look like.

the brush piles are on fire rite now! they covered up from Buffalo down to Butchers! we been averagin over 100 a trip with bout half bein keepers! This kinda fishin makes me wonder at the sanity of folks that think March an April are good months for crappie...I guess they just quit after that so they don't know that they don't know. Glad ya got out agin Gene, an I know ya partner was impressed. Hope to see ya on the water real soon! (an these guys that don't believe ya cause ya ain't got time for pics must lie bout all their fishin!)
