Thread: New "Lucky" Hat

Got my new "Lucky" hat. Me and a good fishing buddy decided to try and see if there was any magic in this one. Hit one of the local rivers to try for some yellow perch. Looks like there is more than crappie up in the creeks. Caught a total of around 35 perch (some small) with 9 of them being 12 inches plus. Here is a picture of me with 4 of the better ones. Also caught around 15 nice crappie, 5 bass, 5 cats, several small white perch and a couple of gills. Not too bad for an early afternoon tide. Water temp 72. All fish caught on jigs in 5 to 7 FOW. I brought home 12 jumbo perch to eat and my buddy kept the crappie, bass and cats for a big cookout he is having. So far so good with the new hat.
