Went to a local private pond about 10 acres. Found males all down the banks on small beds. Plucked a few out with a tiny green tube. Hooked one 3 times before I got him in. Fish were not spooked easily. Looking for that one big to come out of the pond this year. The pond has the fattest crappie I've ever seen in a pond. Weighed one 10.5-11". It was 13 oz. I think they will tango bout everywhere by next moon.
