Thread: Left over minnows

After putting a skunk in my yak and getting blown off the water yesterday I went back to drown the left over minnows this morning. Ended up with 7 crappie and 2 bass. Going to eat them tomorrow for dinner. Yum Yum. WT in the mid to low 50s. Hard to believe that just a couple of weeks ago there was ice on the water. Saw some FAT YP at the dam. Not many, heard they had a case of lockjaw. Didnt target them today but will give them a try soon.

So how good were they? Any secrets in your cooking them?

Panko breading,old bay,garlic,and montreal steak seasoning. Cook in oven at 425° for 25 min. Steamed broccoli and fries. Um Um good.

you could have just ground fish up and made sauce for something to dip your garlic in....and 425 for 25 cook red meat to well done.....whole section here with recipes brother....jus sayin
