Default enough for dinner and then a bonus

Went to rockahock today. Started around 12, fished til dark. Caught around 20 crappie all on minnows. 6 keepers between 10-13 inches. Enough for dinner. Average around 9in. Better than the last trip as far as quality. And then before the sun went down I scored a 20 in striper on a 10 ft UL. With 6 lb test. That was fun. It weighed 3.5 lbs. Not a biggun but a bonus to the whole trip. First I have ever caught from the chick. (Keeper size)Heard a rumor that some were caught this year in the chick lake? What? Just wanted to share and give a report.

Nice fish. The striper action can get good there. Anchor up just out from the dam. Put out some bottom rigs with strips of skin-on crappie fillet (or what ever cut bait you have). Keep some crappie minnows under corks suspended. You just might be busy. Good luck.
