    Default Suffolk YP trip

My friend and I fished Suffolk yesterday for bass, but they weren't playing very well. We did end up finding some areas holding yellow perch, so we shifted gears. It wasn't super fast action, but we probably caught about 30 with 14 keepers in the bunch. We had four that were length citations, while two of those four would have also made weight citations. Made for a good dinner last night. All the perch were caught on jigs or silver buddy in 5-10 FOW. Water temp 49.

Thanks, Jim. You know how it works, sometimes a guy gets lucky and drops a lure in front of the right fish. I'm heading back out to Suffolk over the weekend to concentrate on the perch. I only had one rod a couple of lures yesterday. I'll be more prepared for the next go-around.
