As usual I got a late start, I had to replace a trailer light and go vote.
I managed to get on the lake around 1145 or so, and started a pretty good pick of fish. I had a couple dozen speckles, all would ave been nice eaters(12-13") a handful of bream, a 24" pike and a 25" bass. No little crappie, all real nice size.
Everything was on Tennessee shad(810) kalin triple threats, except one, that was on a 824. 1/16 ounce jig heads. Some bites on near the bottom, some 12" deep in 9-12' of water. It seemed like 6-7' deep (6 count) was the sweet spot. I fished the stump fields.
Still no downscan yet...the yahoos on ebay keep snaking the machines out from under me.
Sounds like a good day.
