Had a good times with friends,Don and Doris ,Roy and Dale, fish and caught a few each day and put down 12 BP ,the creeks only had mostly small fish so tried to learn up river for 3 days, caught a few Thur and Friday ,Saturday Roy and me went back up pass clarksville and fish ,we caught 102 with about 80 from 10 to 15 inches with many 12 plus,Roy caught the most, going to make him set in back next time,we caught them on his and mine home made plastic jigs,it was very windy and Don stayed in with Duley his dog while the girls shop. Saw fish doc and as usual he was tearing them up ,he was getting them off of stumps but I could not find many stumps in the right place

Gene, thanks for the great trip. All I had been hearing all week was how tough the fishing was. Well we ended up with a great day. Guess you never know till you go and and give it a try, but then I had a great guide who figured them out right from the start.Always nice to catch them on baits you make yourself I'm finding out. Did Gene mention it was windy? Well his new Motor Guide with that improved anchor lock sure worked like a charm. Kept us on the brush real good and allowed both of us to fish and not fight the wind. Lots of shad everywhere in the lake. Makes you wonder how you ever get a bite. Thanks again Gene, look forward to doing it again real soon.
