Thanks for all the good links. I'm not even going to consider a new boat. If I was a lot younger I would. That Tracker is exactly what I have in mind but that's almost a 4 hour drive one way. He is in Fishdoc's back yard.

The J16 posted has a short transom but a long shaft motor...
