    Default LCR keeps on giving

It had been a few months since I last saw a citation crappie, but this 15.25-incher turned up this morning.
As luck would have it, a second large fish doubled me & there was no way to get them both to the net.
This one appeared to be the larger of the two.

LCR is very clear (maybe 12' visibility) with WT of 85. This morning was showery and overcast with a pleasant
    air temp and manageable wind.

The fish were in a minnow mood today, so all my jigs stayed in the tackle box. They are holding in or near
grass beds in 13' to 18' of water, so hangups and stringy grass removal were constant. By the end of a half-day trip,
the clicker showed 35 and the floor of my boat looked like a salad bar.

Ring perch were also active, but none were large. (Yesterday, I found 3 length citation YP & that kept my average
close to 1 citation YP per day since early June.)

I'm new here and I realize that LCR is the abbreviation for a lake or a river but what does LCR stand for?

Edited to say....Nevermind I did some more searching and answered my question.

After doing some reading I may have to haul my kayak up there to give it a try.

Thanks for the report. I forget about how nice that lake is. I recall we had a bash on that lake.

We did Dave. Jun 18th, 2005. It was a Shellcracker bash and Dr Speckle won it. If I remember correctly very few fish were caught.
