    Default Seaplane in Western Branch

I just got a report of a red & white seaplane doing a "touch and go" in Western Branch between Russells Point and Burnt Mills around 12:30 today. The person that called didn't get a tail number, but said the plane was close to a boat and maybe someone out there got more information. If you know of anyone with information, please have them call me at 441-5678.

    Thanks.

If I'd been in the boat I probably would have poop my pants. Wow

I was on the lake from 1 to 5. I guess I missed the airshow.

There were some City of Norfolk employees on the water in a pontoon boat. You might want to check with them.

That was who gave me the report. Unfortunately, the plane flew directly overhead and they couldn't see the tail numbers.

Might want to ask over at BassJons site, they've got some guys who fish there a lot.

Years ago there was one that operated on the Chowan out of the ramp on US 13. I don't know if he was just giving rides or what but I often wondered if he knew about those stumps in the middle of the river.

2 times last year in Lake Prince during the summer a red and white sea plane did touch and goes. Barely cleared the bridge one time.
